BOARD MEETING MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 15th, 2012

Call To Order:  Jim Vossen called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

Board Members Present - Linda Scholink, Mose Thomas, Carl Kelleher, Jim Vossen, Rich Glenn, Jim Claypool, Harvey Dadwell and Becky Stofer

Visitors:  Helen Rucker, Steve Bloomer and Nancy Town

There was a motion to change our regular scheduled meetings to the 3^rd Wednesday of the month.   Rich made the motion,  Harvey seconded the motion and everyone was in favor of the motion.

The financial report was looked at by the members but a motion wasn’t made to accept the financial report.   It is still being reviewed by the financial committee.

The City of Seaside did not do the 4^th of July Parade last year because of finances.    Jim Vossen would like to see the 4^th of July Parade take place this coming next year.   He put a committee together to see if we can make that happen.   Those that will be serving on the committee are (Becky, Mose, Harvey, Carl, Steve & Jim Claypool).

 We also discussed the Seaside & Community Exposition with the possibility of it being held at the Oldermire Center in Seaside.    We talked about this being a great time for the Chamber to help promote business in our Community.    The meeting  was  adjourned  at  10:30 a.m.
